Chapter 17, Problem 56TQ
Summary Introduction
To review:
The phenomenon of existence of A-DNA in the RNA hairpins as well as RNA–DNA hybrids, considering the structural differences between DNA and RNA.
Introduction:
Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is the genetic material for the majority of organisms. It can exist in three major forms: A-DNA, B-DNA, and Z-DNA, which differs in terms of helix diameter, base pairs per helix turn as well as the direction of helix rotation. The form that exists under physiological conditions is the B-form of DNA.
