Introduction:
Regulatory molecules which are derived from the amino acids are termed as monoamines and some of the monoamines that are derived from the tyrosine which is also an amino acid are dopamine, epinephrine or adrenaline, and norepinephrine or noradrenaline. This subfamily of amino acid tyrosine is also known as catecholamines.
