Introduction:
Blood vessels that transport oxygen to the body and its organs are called arterioles and arteries. The veins and venules carry oxygen-poor blood from the body to the lungs. The skin serves as a protective covering for the body and also acts as the first defense mechanism in order to provide defense against the invading pathogens.
