Edema is the situation of swelling in tissue that can occur due to fluid accumulation in body and it may have many symptoms like swelling, shiny skin and even increase in abdominal size. Patient can suffer from shortness of breath, chest pain and difficulty in breathing. Edema can also be caused by ill effects of drugs.
