Question
Chapter 14, Problem 9cCP
Summary Introduction
To review:
Mechanism by which stroke volume can increase during exercise.
Introduction:
There are four heart chambers namely two atria and two ventricles. The heart has four valves. The valves ensure that the blood moves in the right direction. The mitral and tricuspid valves are situated in the middle of the atria and the ventricles. The valves prevent the backflow of blood in the reverse direction.
