Question
Chapter 14, Problem 5RA
Summary Introduction
To determine:
Effect of ADH and aldosterone.
Introduction:
ADH (anti-diuretic hormone) and aldosterone are responsible for salt and water retention in blood. ADH play role in lowering osmolality. It is produced by hypothalamus and is known as vasopressin. Aldosterone is responsible for reabsorbing sodium and it is released from the adrenal medulla of the adrenal gland.
