Introduction:
An electromagnet is a type of magnet which is made of wires wound up in a coil. When electricity is passed through the wire it produces a magnetic field.
The strength of the magnetic field depends on the amount of current that passes through the coil and the number of turns. The amount of current can be adjusted using potentiometer as a variable resistor. So, by adjusting the current, the field strength can be adjusted.
