Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
A magnet is an object that produces its own magnetic field which interacts with external magnetic fields. A magnet has two poles- north and south. Similar poles repel away each other whereas dissimilar poles attract towards each other.
The poles of the magnet inside a ball can be found out by using another magnet whose polarity is known, for e.g. a compass. The north pole of the compass will attract the south pole of the magnet inside the ball and vice versa.
