Introduction:

Lipids are one of the water-insoluble substances that occur in nature. They perform various functions in the cell, also beingan important source of energy for the cell. Many biomolecules such as hormones, antioxidants, pigments, and vitamins are composed of lipid molecules. Lipids are classified into six major classes, namely, fatty acids, triacylglycerol, wax esters, phospholipids, sphingolipids, and isoprenoids.
