Summary Introduction

To explain: Structure of an antibody molecule and its related function.

Introduction: An antibody is the protein secreted by B cells that are differentiated into plasma cells. Antibodies involved in the adaptive immune system recognize the antigens and bind with them to form an antigen‑antibody complex. Antibodies are found either in the free form in blood plasma or bound to the B cell membrane. The antibody bounded B cells either become as effector cells or memory cells.
