Chapter 43, Problem 3TYK
Summary Introduction
The immune system is the defense strategy found in every living thing. Different cell types and proteins are involved in immune mechanisms. The types of cells that are involved in immunity are lymphocytes (T & B lymphocytes), neutrophils, monocytes, natural killer cells, and macrophages. In response to pathogen recognition, these cells secrete a variety of proteins, which acts against pathogens.
