The blood type is referred to as divisions of the human blood based on the type of antigens and antibodies that are present on the cellular surface of red blood cells. These antigenic substances could be glycolipids, carbohydrates, proteins, or glycoprotein. The tests by which the blood types are tested are known as blood group testing or ABO testing.
