Introduction:
Chromosomes are carriers of the genetic material of a cell. These are comprised by the DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) and histone proteins. When a cell consists of only a single set of chromosomes, it is termed as haploid while the cells with complete sets of chromosomes are known as diploid.
