Introduction:

Carbohydratesact as the most important biomolecules in cellular metabolism for different species. Carbohydrates usually consist of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. A product of an addition reaction is called the adduct. The deficiency or overproduction of carbohydrates leads to various diseases. Cellobiose is an example of a sugar. Carbohydrates are categorized into monosaccharides, disaccharides, oligosaccharides, and polysaccharides.
