Introduction:
XP is a rarely occurring skin disease which is characterized by increased sensitivity to sunlight or UV (ultraviolet) light in particular. Children suffering from XP develop freckles or sunburns on exposed skin even after limited exposure to sunlight. This disease causes them to be at a risk of getting skin cancer.
