Chapter 15, Problem 2RA
Summary Introduction
To review:
Cells and their secretory products.
Introduction:
Adaptive immunity is mainly regulated by B (bursa of Fabricius) and T (thymic) lymphocytes. The B lymphocytes are involved in the production of antibodies, while the T cells destroy infected cells as well as support B cells in antibody production. The T cells are of three types namely- cytotoxic T cells, helper T cells and regulatory T cells.
