Introduction:
The lymphocytes play a major role in adaptive immunity and the neutrophils, monocytes, macrophages, and other cells participate in both innate and adaptive immunity. B (bursa of Fabricius) and T (thymus) lymphocytes are the major components of adaptive immunity and these are actively involved in the production of antibodies.
