Question
Chapter 15, Problem 4bCP
Summary Introduction
To review:
Opsonization and the two molecules that promote this process.
Introduction:
The antibodies and other molecules such as neutrophils, mast cells, and macrophages provide the defense mechanism against the foreign invading bodies. The antibodies are produced by the B (bursa of Fabricius) lymphocytes. The B and T (thymus) lymphocytes are involved in mediating the adaptive immunity.
