The solubility is defined as the solid or liquid or gaseous substance which dissolves in suitable solvent. The nonpolar molecule has no separate positive and negative charge. The nonpolar molecules are generally soluble in organic solvents such as dichloromethane, chloroform and other organic solvents. Polar molecules have separate positive and negative charges. The water molecules are polar molecule. So it is used as polar solvent.
