Summary Introduction

Introduction: The kidney is the major excretory organs present in most of the organisms. The nephron is the fundamental unit of the kidney. The nephron consists of the proximal convoluted tubule, distal convoluted tubule, a loop of Henle and the collecting duct. By the process of filtration, the nephron forms the concentrated urine that finally flows in the collecting duct of the nephron.
