Question
Chapter 42, Problem 4TYK
Summary Introduction
A four-chambered heart is present in birds and mammals have. The four chambers are a pair of atria and a pair of ventricles. In all the four chambers, the left ventricle is more muscular and the walls of the left ventricle are thicker. This is because the left ventricle pumps blood throughout the body and the pressure inside the chamber is high. The right ventricle pumps the blood to the lungs.
