Introduction: Gaseous exchange is a process of movement of gases across the cell surface carried out by respiratory system. In insects, the respiratory system receives air through a series of external openings called spiracles, a muscular valves. These muscular valves lead to a dense network of tubes called tracheae, which delivers oxygen and remove carbondioxide from the cells.
