Concept explainers
To discuss:
The food of birds food on the basis of their beaks.
Introduction:
A way in which any animals respond to environmental change is known as behavior. This environmental change that affects the directly to the organism is known as the stimulus. These behaviors of animals can be genetically or due to environmental influence.
Explanation of Solution
Every organism evolved with the characters that make them fit to survive and reproduce. These characters can be genetically or developed due to environmental change. Every species have their distinct features based on the environment they live and the food they eat. In the two birds given beak of pigeon is flatter and smaller which helps them to collect and grind the food grains this tells that pigeons mainly feeds on food grains whereas in eagle large beaks with hooks are present which helps them in catching and tearing of prey this tells that eagle feeds on other large animals.
The beak of pigeon is smaller and flat which tells that they feed on food grains, whereas in eagle beaks are larger with hooks which tells that they feed on other animals.
