Introduction:

The adult body of a fruit fly is divided into two axes. These two axes are; the dorsoventral axis and the anteroposterior axis. Proximodistal axis is used to assign the limbs of an organism. Anteroposterior axis extends from the anterior to the posterior part of the body of an organism while, the dorsoventral axis extends from the dorsal to the ventral part of the body.
