Explanation of Solution
Ethanol does not undergo dissociation because the ethoxide ion that is formed upon dissociation is not stable as the resonance is absent. When there is no formation of ions, there is no scope for electrical conduction. Therefore, ethanol has zero conductivity.
When there are a greater number of free electrons, then the conductivity will be good. The conductivity is purely based on the number of ions that are present in the solution. When there are no ions in the solution, the conductivity will be nil.
