Introduction: Several methods are used in athletics to prevent the participants from cheating in the highly acclaimed competitions such as Olympics. Rumors about male candidates attempting to compete as female candidates in order to enhance their performance began spreading in 1960. This prompted the International Olympic Committee to make sex testing for all female candidates mandatory, beginning with 1968 Olympic Games.
