Calculation:

We assume that no. of days $(X)$ will help explain weight of soap $(Y)$ . So, no. of days $(X)$ is the explanatory variable and weight of soap $(Y)$ is the response variable. We want to see weight of soap $(Y)$ changes when days $(X)$ changes. So the equation of regression line will be

  $\widehat{Y}=80-6X$

In this equation, $\widehat{Y}$ is the predicted value of the response variable $Y$ for a given value of the explanatory variable $X$ .
