Chapter 3, Problem 23RA
Summary Introduction
To review:
The interrelationship between the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi complex and the fate of vesicles released from Golgi complex.
Introduction:
In eukaryotes, the system of membranous tubules in the cytoplasm is known as endoplasmic reticulum (ER). Golgi complex is a pile of flat sacs produced by the membrane inside the cytoplasm. ER and Golgi complex are involved in the synthesis and packaging of molecules secreted inside and outside the cell.
