Summary Introduction

To review:

Apoptosis and its significance.

Introduction:

Cells in all living organisms are derived from their parent cells. The division of parent cell gives rise to new daughter cells. The cell cycle contains mainly two phases: the interphase and the M (mitotic)-phase. The interphase is the resting phase, in which the cell prepares itself for division while the M-phase is the phase where actual cell division occurs.
