Introduction:
Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease caused by Neisseria gonorrheae. It can cause permanent complications like a pelvic inflammatory disease. It infects eyes, vagina, urethra, throat, and the female reproductive tract. The disease can be passed from the mother to the baby during childbirth. Gonorrhea and chlamydia can occur simultaneously in a person.
