Introduction:
Clones of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) are preparedin the physical mapping of genes. Through physical mapping, the relative location of genes in the chromosomal segments can be identified. The library containing the clones is aligned according to the actual position of the clones with the help of overlapping regions.
