Technologies are of many types. They can be classified as,

1. Technical or technological objects- For example, radio, pen, and computer.
2. Technical methods for making any object or tool- For example, process of making glass or ceramics.
3. Technical knowledge or skills needed to operate any human made object- for example, skills needed for a pilot to fly an airplane.
4. Technical systems to do a particular task-for example, the internet.
