Introduction:
A variable is a quantity whose value can be changed. Now, in any experiment, if the value of one quantity is systemically changed to measure its effect on another quantity, then the quantity which was chosen by the experimenter to change is called the independent variable. The other quantity whose value changes due to the change of the value of the independent variable is called the dependent variable.
To display the given data, a line graph will be used. This is the best option considered for the given experiment. This is because the line graph clearly shows how the dependent variable changes with the change in the independent variable. These graphs are often used when the variable changes with time.
In the given situation, the temperature is the dependent variable while time is the independent variable.
