Standard of measurements
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
Standards are defined as the elemental reference for any system in terms of weights and measures.
If a person is in the Middle Ages, when people actually used the length of the king’s arm as the standard of measurement, then one would surely try to convince them to use some logical standard of measurements. The individual will say that the length of the arm or the length of the foot is not so logical standard of measurement as they vary from person to person. So, if one measures using the length of the arm or length of the foot, then the person will never get the proper measurement of any objects. So it is necessary to use a new standard of measurement that will give a perfect measurement of an object.
