Introduction: Duchene Muscular dystrophy is caused due to progressive muscle weakness and degeneration in muscles. It is an X-linked recessive disease. It is caused due to a defect in the synthesis of a gene dystropin, which causes weakness in the muscles of hands and legs in the body. The body muscles get degraded and get filled with connective tissues and fats.
