Chapter 11, Problem 4cCP
Summary Introduction
To review:
Nature and actions of receptor proteins of insulin and growth factors.
Introduction:
Insulin promotes glycogen, fat and protein synthesis in target organs while growth factors play important role in different types of cellular processes. The receptor proteins are those entities to which different proteins and molecules bind in order to cause a reaction.
