Introduction:
There are various endocrine glands present in the body and each of the endocrine gland is associated with the secretion of their specific hormones. The hCG is secreted during pregnancy and is similar to the luteinizing hormone secreted by the anterior pituitary gland. The hCG stimulates the ovaries for the maintenance of corpus luteum during pregnancy.
