Blood acts as the carrier which transports all the nutrients and other elements from one part to other. Respiration also occurs via the blood. The force by which the blood moves in the artery is termed as blood pressure. The blood pressure is mainly of two types: systolic or contraction pressure and diastolic or relaxation pressure.
