Concept introduction:
In substrate level phosphorylation, an enzyme donates a phosphate group from the bonds of high energy phosphorylated molecule to ADP, which results in the formation of ATP. Chemiosmotic phosphorylation is a process by which enzymes transfer phosphate group from bonds of high energy molecule to ADP with the help of generation of proton gradient across cell membrane by osmosis.
