Cholera toxin is produced by Vibrio cholerae. It is a causative organism of a severe diarrheal disease known as cholera. It is extremely common in countries where proper clean water is unavailable for the people due to war or natural disasters. This bacteria produces AB toxin,which is gastrointestinal enterotoxin.
