Introduction:
After attaching to the host cell, microbes secrete protein toxins called exotoxin that kill the cell and unlock its nutrients that are utilized by the microbes. Hence, pathogens produce toxins in a way that can take advantage of different structures. Bacterial toxins act as virulence factors. The toxins damage the host tissue through various mechanisms.
