Chapter 25, Problem 22CONQ
Summary Introduction
To review:
The retroviral oncogene and its use in viral proliferation and infection. Also, review the process of acquiring oncogenes by a retrovirus.
Introduction:
The oncogenes are the genes which help in the formation of cancer cells. When different mutations occur in proto-oncogenes, they are converted into oncogenes. There are many agents which cause cancer that can be internal or external. Viruses are also significant agents which can cause cancer in the body and spreads throughout the body if not treated.
