Fungi are the eukaryotes, which are one of the major decomposers found on earth. The fungi are close relative of the plants, but they lack the property of photosynthesis and they have a cell wall.
Explanation of Solution
Some fungi have antibiotic property that help in the killing of the bacteria. To test this, place fungi in a bacterial culture for a day or two, in a petridish. If the bacteria are unable to grow nearby fungi then, the fungi must have antibacterial property, which inhibit the colonization of bacteria.
