Summary Introduction

Introduction:  The ribosomes are small specialized minute particles that serve as a protein synthesis sites. The ribosomes are distributed all over the cells though their highest concentration can be found on rough endoplasmic reticulum. They have two subunits, a large and a small which are united to form a protein translation unit along with mRNA and helps in the attachment of specific tRNA molecules during peptide synthesis.
