Introduction:
The stretching of muscles due to the movement of a joint is an involuntary action. The involuntary actions in the body are carried out by the spinal cord. The spinal cord is one of the parts of the central nervous system (CNS). The nerve cells involved in generating and transmitting the nerve impulse to initiate a muscle movement are associated with the spinal cord.
