Introduction:

Immunization practices date back hundreds of years. A vaccination allows the immune system of the body to detect and kill infections such as viruses or bacteria, which then keeps the body safe from the illness caused by these infectious agents. The first step in establishing an effective therapy and avoiding further infection is to determine the cause of the disease.
