Explanation of Solution
To show the distribution of a large data set, the best method to be used is histogram.
While plotting a histogram, there is no need to list each data value. When all the bars of the histogram are of same height, then the distribution is said to be uniform, flat or symmetric.
Histogram also helps in analysing the shape of the distribution of data.
If the tail of the graph extends to the left and most of the data is on the right, then the distribution is said to be skewed left.
If the tail of the graph extends to the right and most of the data is on the left, then the distribution is said to be skewed right.
If the data on the right of the distribution is a mirror image of the data on the left, the distribution is said to be symmetric.
