Introduction:

The nervous system uses two types of synapses to conduct information that are the electrical and the chemical synapses. The electrical synapses are used in the situations that require quick transmission of the information, for example, in case of a danger. The chemical synapses are slower than the electrical synapses and are used in the situation of less danger.
