To explain:
That which subject might be suffering from dietary iron deficiency and why.
Introduction:
Anemia takes place while we have a lower or reduced level of hemoglobin in our red blood cells (RBCs). Hemoglobin is the protein in our RBCs that carries oxygen to our tissues. Iron deficiency anemia is the most usual kind of anemia, and it takes place when our body does not have a sufficient amount of the mineral iron. Our body requires iron to form hemoglobin. When there is insufficient iron in our bloodstream, the rest of our body cannot get the exact quantity of oxygen that it requires.
Explanation of Solution
Iron deficiency anemia occurs because of insufficient iron in our body. Without sufficient iron, our body cannot generate enough of a substance in red blood cells that allows them to transport oxygen (hemoglobin). Subject A, B, C, D, and E have hemoglobin content 15, 15, 8, 16, 15 respectively. Since subject C has low hemoglobin content so it might be suffering from dietary iron deficiency.
Thus, we can say that subject C might be suffering from dietary iron deficiency because it has low hemoglobin content.
