Introduction:
The male reproductive system contains the testes. The testes are sites for the process of spermatogenesis. The testes are divided into two compartments, namely the seminiferous tubules and the interstitial tissue. The seminiferous tubules serve as the site of spermatogenesis while the endocrine cells present in the interstitial tissue releases the hormone testosterone.
